The Vice-Chancellor gives notice that he has accepted with gratitude a benefaction of $500,000 from the Chuan Lyu Foundation to establish a fund for the support of teaching and research in Taiwanese Studies. The fund is to be named the Chuan Lyu Fellowship and Senior Visiting Scholarship Fund.
The Council are submitting a Grace to the Regent House (Grace 3, p. 835) for the approval of regulations to govern the proposed fund.
