TEACHING APPOINTMENT IN ECONOMICS

Applications are invited for appointment to a College Assistant Lectureship in Economics, together with a Fellowship, tenable from 1 October 2000 for three years in the first instance, with the possibility of reappointment for a further two years. The maximum tenure of the post is five years.

The successful applicant will assist in supervising and directing studies in Economics in the College. The research and teaching interests of the candidates should cover one or more of the main areas included in the Economics Tripos. The Fellowship is tenable with or without another salaried appointment within the University. For a Fellow with no other post, the stipend will be on a scale roughly comparable with that of a University Assistant Lecturer (currently £17,238 a year to £22,579).
