Nigel Kenneth Harry Slater, M.A., Ph.D., CEng, FIChemE, Fellow of Fitzwilliam College, 1978-85, currently Director of Research at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Aston University, has been elected into a Fellowship in Class B on his appointment to the second Chair in Chemical Engineering on 1 July 2000.
Iris Möller, Ph.D., M, M.Phil., Swansea, Research Associate and Deputy Director at the Cambridge Coastal Research Unit, has been appointed College Lecturer in Geography, and elected into a Fellowship in Class A, from 1 October 2000.
Peter John Tregear, Ph.D., K, M.Mus.A., Melbourne, Lecturer in Music at the University of Queensland, has been appointed to a joint College Lectureship in Music with Churchill College, and elected into a Fellowship in Class A at Fitzwilliam College, from 1 October 2000.
