Sidney Sussex College

FELLOWSHIP AND COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN ECONOMICS

Applications are invited for a College Lectureship in Economics from 1 October 2000, or as soon as possible thereafter, for three years in the first instance. The successful applicant will be elected into an Official Fellowship and will be required to be a Director of Studies in Economics. The Lecturer will be expected to undertake research and to be able to teach within the area of Macroeconomics and the Economics of Development. The pensionable stipend will be on the scale £15,361 to £22,579. The successful candidate may be required to assume an office of tutorial responsibility, for which office an additional stipend is payable. Candidates should normally be under the age of thirty-two years on 1 October 2000. The closing date for applications is 9 June 2000.
