There is a preference for Organic Chemistry for one post. TWO FELLOWSHIPS IN BIOLOGY

New Hall intends to appoint to College Lectureships and Fellowships one or two individuals who are or expect soon to be working in the Departments of Physiology, Genetics, Plant Sciences, or Zoology, or a closely related laboratory. One post will be in Physiology. Those appointed will be expected to teach for three or four hours a week in Full Term (mostly to students in their first two years), to interview students applying for places, to help arrange other teaching in Biology, and to contribute to the academic life and running of the College.

The College pays College Lecturers at twenty per cent above the usual rates for supervising, and pays Fellows a stipend of £1,074 a year. The posts will suit those with some additional form of financial support (e.g. from a Research Council) and an interest in undergraduate teaching. In each case, the posts are open to men and women and appointment will be for three years in the first instance.
