FIXED-TERM TEACHING FELLOWSHIP IN MODERN HISTORY

The College proposes to appoint a Teaching Fellow in Modern History, with effect from 1 October 2000. The Fellow will be expected to engage in research and to teach for twelve hours a week during term, within the modern period (nineteenth and twentieth centuries), for the Honour Schools of Modern History, Ancient and Modern History and History and Politics, History and Economics (and possibly Politics, Philosophy, and Economics), and their respective First Public Examinations. The post will be limited to three years, with no possibility of extension.
