St Hugh's College

BECKET INSTITUTE FELLOWSHIPS

The Becket Institute is a research centre based in St Hugh's College, dedicated to exploring issues related to religious liberty. The Institute offers two types of Fellowships, tenable for one academical year from October 2000: one Junior Fellowship for scholars who have gained their doctorate ordinarily within the previous seven years, and one Senior Fellowship. Fellows are expected to pursue research on the topic of religious liberty in any of the following fields: Law, Politics, Philosophy, Theology, Sociology, Modern History. The stipend for Fellowships may vary according to age and experience, the minimum for Junior Fellowships being £13,000 and for Senior Fellowships £22,000.
