Brasenose College and St Hilda's College

STIPENDIARY LECTURERSHIP IN MEDIEVAL ENGLISH

Brasenose and St Hilda's Colleges wish to appoint a twelve-hour Stipendiary Lecturer in Medieval English Language and Literature for three years from 1 October 2000. The person appointed, who will have the use of an office in Brasenose College, will be expected to teach Old and Middle English Language and Literature, and the History of the English Language for the Honour Schools of English and associated Joint Honours Schools, to participate in entrance procedures, and to assist generally in the running of English in collaboration with the relevant tutors at both Colleges. The salary will be on the scale £15,333; £16,286; £17,238 a year.
