The Faculty Board of Social and Political Sciences give notice, in accordance with New Regulation 8 (Reporter, p. 285), that the variable subjects for the examinations in Parts IIA and IIB of the Social and Political Sciences Tripos to be held for the first time in 2001-02 will be as follows:

Soc. 5. A subject in sociology III: Modern Britain.
Soc. 8. A subject in the sociology of education (Paper 4 of Part II of the Education Tripos).
Int. 3. An interdisciplinary subject I: Medicine, health, and illness.
Int. 4. An interdisciplinary subject II: Biotechnologies.
Int. 5. An interdisciplinary subject III: Women and society.
Int. 8. A specified subject in South Asian Studies (Paper In. 27 of the Oriental Studies Tripos).
The following papers will not be available for the examination in 2002:
