The Vice-Chancellor gives notice of the following benefactions to the University, which he has accepted with gratitude:
(a) | A benefaction of £3,946, which has been donated by the organizers of a conference in honour of Professor Gareth Jones, to fund a prize in the Law of Restitution, to be awarded on the results of the LL.M. Examination. |
(b) | An offer by the Employment, Pensions, and Benefits Department of Freshfields, which forms part of the London firm of solicitors of that name, to make an annual donation of £500 to fund a prize in Advanced Trust Law, to be awarded on the results of the LL.M. Examination. |
The Council are submitting Graces to the Regent House (Graces 1 and 2, p. 436) for the approval of regulations to govern these prizes.
