LECTURESHIP IN EUROPEAN HISTORY

Newnham College invites applications for a College Lectureship in European History from candidates whose interests lie in any period from 400 AD on-wards. The successful candidate is expected to take up the duties of the post on 1 October 2000. The appointment, which is open to men and women, will be for an initial period of three years. Subject to review, the appointment is renewable.

The salary for the period of initial appointment will be on a scale matching that from points 7-18 of the University Assistant Lecturer and University Lecturer scale, currently £17,238 to £27,451, the starting point depending upon age, qualifications, and experience.
