Bachelor of Theology for Ministry, 2000: Notice

The Faculty Board of Divinity give notice that, with effect from the examinations to be held in 2000, the form of the examinations for the degree of Bachelor of Theology will be changed, as follows:

*Paper 8. Sociology and the mission of the Church

Candidates will be required to choose one essay title from a list approved by the Faculty Board.

*Paper 9. Psychology

Candidates will be required to choose one essay title from a list approved by the Faculty Board.

Paper 18. Christian spirituality in historical context

Candidates who choose to be assessed by the three-hour examination will be required to attempt four questions out of ten provided.

Candidates who choose to be assessed by two 3,000 word essays will be required to select titles from a list approved by the Faculty Board.

*Paper 28. Judaism

Candidates who choose to be assessed by the two-hour examination will be required to attempt three questions out of eight provided.

Candidates who choose to be assessed by one 3,000 word essay will be required to select the title from a list approved by the Faculty Board.

Paper 32. Eastern Orthodox Christianity

This paper will not be offered this year.

*Paper 35. Special subject in Biblical interpretation

Candidates will be required to choose one essay title from a list approved by the Faculty Board.

*Paper 38. Philosophical theology

This paper will not be offered this year.
