The Vice-Chancellor gives notice that the Rt Hon. Sir Leon Brittan, T, formerly Vice-President of the European Commission, will deliver the inaugural Alcuin Lecture in the Senate House, at 5 p.m. on Monday, 29 November 1999.
The title of the Lecture will be Europe and Britain: myth, reality, and prospects.
