Rank Research Professor in Opto-Electronics: Notice

The General Board, on the recommendation of their Advisory Committee on the appointment of unestablished staff at senior levels, have agreed to appoint Dr S. B. Laughlin, CHU, Reader in Sensory Neurosciences, as Rank Research Professor in Opto-Electronics from 1 October 1999 for five years.
