ROLLESTON MEMORIAL PRIZE 2000

The Rolleston Memorial Prize is offered for original research in any of the biological sciences, including the biomedical sciences, and is worth at least £1,000. Candidates for the Prize should submit an entry form (see below), together with a brief curriculum vitae and a summary of their research (to be no longer than five sides of A4). Shortlisted candidates will then be asked to submit their written research. All research submitted for consideration for the Prize should have been undertaken by candidates after their matriculation.

To be eligible to enter, a candidate:

(a) must either hold a B.A. or B.M. degree from the University of Oxford, or a B.A. or M.B. degree from the University of Cambridge, or have been admitted as a student for the degree of M.Litt., M.Sc. or D.Phil. at Oxford, or as a student for the degree of M.Litt., M.Sc., M.Phil. or Ph.D. at Cambridge;
(b) must not have exceeded a period of six years from attaining one or other of these qualifications, or from attaining the first of these qualifications if he or she has attained more than one;
(c) must not have exceeded ten years from matriculation;
(d) must not have been awarded the Prize before.
