The New Regulations for the Modern and Medieval Languages Tripos (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 346) have been amended, with effect from 1 October 1999, as follows:
By amending the titles of Papers Gr. 2, It. 6, Ru. 1, Ru. 2, and Sp. 10 so as to read:

| It. 6. | Italian literature, thought, and history, since 1800. |
| Ru. 1. | Introduction to Russian literature, history, and culture, before 1855. |
| Ru. 2. | Introduction to Russian literature, history, and culture, since 1855. |
