The regulations for the Philosophy Tripos (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 392) have been amended as set out below. The effect of this amendment is to discontinue Paper 8 of Part IB, Aesthetics, for which the Faculty Board will no longer be able to provide teaching after the year 1999-2000. A paper on Aesthetics will continue to be set for Part II, with a revised syllabus. The regulations have been amended, with effect from 1 October 2000, as follows:
Regulation 3(a).
By deleting Paper 8, Aesthetics.
