GKN RESEARCH PROFESSORSHIP OF MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING

Applications are invited for a unestablished Research Professorship of Manufacturing Engineering in the Manufacturing and Management Division of the Department of Engineering. This appointment, which is funded by a generous benefaction from GKN plc., will be for an initial period of ten years. Applications should be from persons whose work falls within the general field of manufacturing technology and who have experience across a range of production technologies and an established research record. The successful candidate will lead teaching and research in the field of manufacturing technology and further develop the Manufacturing and Management Division's already extensive links with manufacturing industry in the UK and abroad.
