Applications are invited for a three-year postdoctoral Research Fellowship in innovation, technology, and knowledge management in medium to large technology-based businesses, tenable from 1 October 1999. The successful candidate will develop understanding of how businesses manage knowledge and innovation to build sustained company growth. The post carries a Fellowship of Churchill College, which was founded in 1960 with a special commitment to science and technology. The Fellowship is sponsored by AEA Technology plc, a broad-based science and engineering services company with 4,500 employees and a turnover of £300m. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. Degree in a science-based subject, be keen on technological innovation, and have an active interest in commercial affairs. He or she may have some business background. The postholder will work with AEA Technology and the University's Centre for Technology Management. The basic salary is £15,735 a year, with options for consultancy work.
