Professor D. M. Glover, B.A., F, Ph.D., London, F.R.S.Ed., Professor of Molecular Genetics and Director of CRC Cell Cycle Genetics Group, University of Dundee, elected Arthur Balfour Professor of Genetics from 1 May 1999.
Radiology. Ms J. A. E. Dutton, M.B., B.S., M.Sc., London, F.R.C.R., C.C.S.T., appointed from 1 April 1999 for five years.
