Applications are invited for the newly established post of Domestic Bursar, who will be responsible to the Governing Body for the general internal management of the College. Duties will include management of the domestic staff and general supervision of their remuneration and conditions of employment; the deployment, in conjunction with the Finance Bursar, of the College maintenance staff; the allocation, decoration, furnishing, and maintenance of residential accommodation, both in term time and in vacations, when the College has an extensive conference programme; and the provision of catering. The successful candidate is likely to have previous management experience in hotels, conference centres, or higher education establishments. An H.N.D., H.C.I.M.A., or equivalent qualification is desirable, but not essential. Salary will be within the range £26,523-£34,464 a year.
