AWARDS BY OUTSIDE BODIES

The Anglo-Israel Association

Travel scholarships to Israel in memory of Sir Wyndham Deedes are offered to graduates of British universities for a minimum visit of six weeks. The purpose is to study and report on some aspect of life in Israel (sociological, scientific, economic, etc.). The value of each scholarship is up to £2,000, and the closing date for applications is 31 March 1999.

Application forms may be obtained by sending a large s.a.e. to the Director, The Anglo-Israel Association, 9 Bentinck Street, London, W1M 5RP. Further information is available on p. 68 of the Reporter, Special No. 5 (the Awards issue), but please note the change in the closing date.
