The Faculty Board of Oriental Studies give notice that the following classes will be held during Lent Term 1999:
Modern Hebrew for beginners, on Wednesdays from 1.15 p.m. to 2.15 p.m.;
Modern Hebrew, intermediate, on Wednesdays from 3.15 p.m. to 4.15 p.m.;
Modern Hebrew, advanced, on Wednesdays from 2.15 to 3.15 p.m.
Classes will begin on 20 January and will be held in Room B1, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Sidgwick Avenue. They are open to all members of the University who are interested.
Starting on 18 January, films will be shown in Hebrew with English subtitles every Monday at 4 p.m. in Room L1, Faculty of Oriental Studies.
