Elections

Mr D. A. Lomas, Ph.D., T, B.Med.Sci., B.M.B.S., Nottingham, FRCP, University Lecturer in the Department of Medicine, elected Professor of Respiratory Biology from 1 December 1998.

Mr J. B. Young, K, M.A., Oxford, M.Sc., Ph.D., Birmingham, Reader in Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics in the Department of Engineering, elected Hopkinson and Imperial Chemical Industries Professor of Applied Thermodynamics from 17 November 1998.
