Applications are invited for the post of Research Assistant (part-time) to work with Dr L. Affuso and Professor D. M. G. Newbery on an ESRC-funded project 'Organization, Competition, and Regulation in the British Railway Industry'. The appointment will be for two years from 1 January 1999. The salary is £15,735-£17,570 a year, pro rata. Applicants must have a good first degree and/or an M.Sc. Degree in Economics and a good working knowledge of econometrics and statistical packages.
