The College welcomes applications from women and men graduates for research or postgraduate study. Our main fields of interest are in economics, politics, and sociology. We have special interests also in the following fields: recent social, political, and economic history, social and medical statistics, medical sociology, international relations, social policy, American studies, Commonwealth history, social geography, and European studies. The College normally takes about twenty-five students a year. The College offers a number of Nuffield Funded Studentships, open to both UK and overseas students, to cover fees and maintenance. In addition students of any college of the University who want to start a new postgraduate degree may apply to the College for a Funded Studentship.
