AWARDS BY OUTSIDE BODIES

The Academic Study Group

ISAIAH BERLIN ISRAEL TRAVEL AWARDS, 1999-2000

The Academic Study Group is a charitable foundation which seeks to promote collaboration between British scholars and their Israeli counterparts. Applications are invited for twenty to thirty modest research travel bursaries to enable the holders to visit Israel in 1999-2000. Applicants should submit a detailed curriculum vitae, together with a summary of their reasons for wishing to visit Israel and the names of their academic counterparts or correspondents in that country. Priority will be given to those who have not visited Israel before, to those who have received personal invitations to lecture or to explore joint projects in Israel, and to those who are interested in obtaining research data for comparative Anglo-Israeli studies. Further information may be obtained from Mr J. D. A. Levy, Academic Study Group, PO Box 7545, London, NW2 2QZ, fax. 0171 794 0291, e-mail foi_asg@msn.com.
