The following elections, appointment, and reappointments have been made:
Professor P. A. McNaughton, M.A., CHR, B.Sc., Auckland, D.Phil., Oxford, Halliburton Professor and Head of Physiology, King's College London, elected Sheild Professor of Pharmacology from 1 October 1999.
Professor V. Spate, Power Professor of Fine Art, Department of Art History and Theory, University of Sydney, has been elected Slade Professor of Fine Art for the academical year 1998-99.
Computer Laboratory. Mr P. T. M. Brooks, M.A., Ph.D., T, appointed Computer Officer, Grade I, from 1 January 1998 to the retiring age.
French. Mr C. Gagne, Q, reappointed from 1 October 1998 for one year.
Clinical Medicine. Mr A. B. Boreham reappointed from 1 October 1998 for five years.
