The first meeting of the year will be on Wednesday, 28 October 1998, when Dr Helen Carron will give a talk entitled William Sancroft: a seventeenth-century collector. Tea will be available in the Morison Room at the University Library from 4.30 p.m. and the talk will begin at 5 p.m. All members of the University and their guests are welcome.
