On Monday, 26 October 1998, Professor Breandán Ó Buachalla, Emeritus Professor of Modern Irish Language and Literature at University College, Dublin, and the Parnell Visiting Fellow at Magdalene College, will give a public lecture at 5 p.m. in Benson Hall, Magdalene College, entitled History as myth: the return of the hero in Early Modern Ireland. The lecture will be followed by a wine reception in the College.
The lecture is open to all members of the University and others who are interested.
