RESEARCH ASSOCIATE/ASSISTANT IN PHYSICS AND TECHNOLOGY OF INTEGRATED CIRCUITS

Applications are invited from candidates with a first degree or higher qualification in electronic engineering or physics and with knowledge of integrated-circuit design and fabrication. Experience with optical-microscopy techniques such as laser scanning or confocal imaging would be an advantage. The funds for this post are available for one year in the first instance and the post may, subject to the availability of funding, be renewed for a further period or periods. The stipend will be within the University scale for Research Assistants, £15,735 to £17,570 a year, or £15,735 to £21,815 for Research Associates.
