Annual Meeting of the Faculty of Clinical Medicine

The Chairman of the Faculty of Clinical Medicine gives notice that the Annual Meeting of the Faculty will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, 10 November 1998 in the William Harvey Lecture Theatre in the Clinical School, Addenbrooke's Hospital, Hills Road. The business of the meeting will include a report by the Chairman, and the election of members of the Faculty Board of Clinical Medicine in class (c), in accordance with Statute C, IV, 2(c), to fill five vacancies.

In class (c), one vacancy will be filled to 31 December 2001 by a University officer in the Faculty who is not a Professor or Associate Lecturer; four will be filled by the holders of NHS appointments at Consultant level who are certified by the Faculty Board to be giving instruction on behalf of the University in subjects falling within the scope of the Faculty of Clinical Medicine, two to 31 December 2001, two to 31 December 2002.

Nominations for these elections, signed by the proposer, who must be a member of the relevant constituency mentioned above, and by the nominee indicating willingness to serve if elected, and notice of any other business should be sent to the Secretary (Box 111), the Clinical School, Addenbrooke's Hospital, Hills Road, Cambridge, CB2 2SP, to reach her not later than noon on Friday, 23 October 1998.
