Election

Professor B. S. Turner, B.A., Ph.D., Leeds, D.Litt., Flinders, FASSA, Foundation Dean, Faculty of Arts, and Foundation Professor of Sociology, Deakin University, Australia, has been elected Professor of Sociology from 1 November 1998.
