Examination in Land Economy for the M.Phil. Degree (one-year course), 1999: Notice

The Degree Committee for the Department of Land Economy give notice that in the academical year 1998-99 the subjects for Option B of the Examination in Land Economy for the M.Phil. Degree (one-year course), in addition to the compulsory dissertation, will be as follows:

Compulsory subject

1	Research methodology

Optional subjects

2	Investment analysis: public and private sectors
3	Urban and regional economics
4	Urban land markets and housing: policies and planning
5	National planning and economic policy
6	Agriculture, food, and land policies in low-income countries
7	Agriculture, environment, and rural development in developed countries
9	Land use regulation
10	Institutions and development
11	Ecological and environmental economics

The Degree Committee also give notice that in the examination to be held in 1999 the subjects of the examination will all be examined by a three-hour written paper.
