Cambridge Society

Through its branches in the UK and throughout the world, and through the activities which it organizes centrally, the Society provides a network of support for the University, its Faculties, Departments, and Colleges. It keeps members informed about what the University is doing, its activities, problems, and achievements. The magazine Cambridge, containing articles about the University's work, goes to members twice a year free of charge. Branches of the Society provide a platform for senior members of the University to talk about their work.

We need more resident members of the University to join the Society to enable us to fulfil our role more effectively. The subscription is modest: £10 a year. Membership is open to academic and academic-related staff.

Details are available from the Administrator, The Cambridge Society, 32 Trumpington Street, Cambridge, CB2 1QY (UMS) (tel. (3)33317, e-mail cmfk2@hermes.cam.ac.uk).
