Notice of a benefaction

The Vice-Chancellor gives notice that he has accepted with gratitude a benefaction of £5,000 from Mr and Mrs David Trower in memory of their son Nigel Trower, of Pembroke College. This benefaction is to establish a fund from which awards will be made to enable Residents on the staff of the Clinical Studies Division of the Veterinary School to undertake professional training outside Cambridge. The Council are submitting a Grace to the Regent House (Grace 1, p. 701) for the approval of regulations to govern the Fund.
