WORLD WIDE WEB EDITORIAL OFFICER

The University of Cambridge seeks to appoint a Web Editor for its Central Administration Web Site. The Web Editor will be expected to edit a variety of material, including formal documents and PR materials. The job will entail copywriting, editing, updating text, general news management, and presenting information in the House Style. The Web Editor will be responsible for ensuring that the Central Administration Web Site is up-to-date, accessible, and interesting. Applicants are likely to be graduates, with an excellent command of English, sound editorial and computing experience, and an outgoing nature. Substantial experience of using the Internet in a professional environment is required and applicants should have experience of web site management. An understanding of academic administration would also be valuable. Technical support for the position will be provided by the University's Administrative Computing Unit. The World Wide Web Editorial Officer will be part of the Press and Publications Office based in the Vice-Chancellor's Office.

Salary will be in the range £17,110-£22,143 a year.
