Philosophical Society

On Monday, 16 February 1998 at 8.30 p.m. in the Cockcroft Lecture Theatre, New Museums Site, Sir Tom Blundell, F.R.S., of the Department of Biochemistry, will deliver a lecture entitled Genomes, biomolecular architecture, and drug discovery. All who are interested are invited.

At a meeting held on 2 February 1998 in the Cockcroft Lecture Theatre, Professor T. M. Cox, Vice-President, was in the Chair. Forty Fellows were elected and five were re-elected. Professor William A. Harris, of the Department of Anatomy, delivered a lecture entitled Assembling the neural substratum of vision. A vote of thanks was moved by Professor G. Horn, F.R.S.
