LECTURESHIP IN SPANISH

Applications are invited from men and women for appointment to a College Lectureship in Spanish from 1 October 1998. The person appointed will be expected to teach modern literature and culture, both Spanish-American and Peninsular, to first- and second-year students, and to contribute to one of these specialist areas in more advanced options. He or she should also be able to undertake language teaching at all levels. The appointment will be for three years in the first instance, with the possibility of reappointment. The pensionable salary will be on a scale comparable with that for University Lecturers, with placing according to age and experience.

Application should be made to the Senior Tutor, Trinity College, Cambridge, CB2 1TQ (from whom further particulars may be obtained), not later than 4 March 1998, together with a statement of qualifications, publications and experience, and the names of three referees. Candidates should ask their referees to write direct to the Senior Tutor by the closing date.
