Jesus College, Oxford

OLD MEMBERS' GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP, 1998

Jesus College invites applications from men and women for one Old Members' Graduate Scholarship, to the value of £1,500 a year. The award will be tenable in the first instance for one year from October 1998 and will be renewable annually up to the end of fee liability, subject to the satisfactory performance of the Scholar. The Scholarship may be held in conjunction with another award and is open to graduates of any university starting a graduate degree course at Oxford in 1998 in a Science subject. Applicants are requested to send a brief curriculum vitae, with details of the course to be taken and proposed area of research at Oxford, other means of financial support, and the current position regarding their Oxford application for admission as a graduate student. Applications should be addressed to the Tutor for Graduates, Jesus College, Oxford, OX1 3DW, marked clearly 'Old Members' Graduate Scholarship' on the envelope. There is no application form.

The closing date for applications is 1 April 1998. Short-listed candidates will be interviewed in May. Candidates should arrange for two references to be received by the closing date.
