Brasenose College, Oxford

JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP

The College invites applications from graduates of either sex for a Junior Research Fellowship in Ancient or Modern History tenable from 1 October 1998. Candidates must have qualified for their first degree not more than seven years before 1 October 1998. The Fellowship is non-stipendiary and is intended to be held in conjunction with a British Academy Post-Doctoral Fellowship or equivalent salaried support for independent research, for which candidates should apply separately. A Fellow is entitled to free luncheons and dinners, either accommodation in College or an allowance in lieu and a study room, and support for research expenses.
