The Rt Hon. Sir JOHN MEGAW, C.B.E., T.D., M.A., LL.M., Honorary Fellow of St John's College, died on Saturday, 27 December 1997, aged 88 years.

DYFRIG GRUFFYDD MORGAN, M.Sc., M.A., Fellow of St John's College, sometime Senior Tutor and University Lecturer in Agricultural Botany, died on Thursday, 18 December 1997, aged 70 years.
