Graces to be submitted to the Regent House at a Congregation on 13 December 1997

The Council have sanctioned the submission of the following Graces to the Regent House at a Congregation to be held on 13 December 1997:

That the following person be admitted to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy by incorporation;

1. RODERICK LEWIS JONES, Fellow of Queens' College, University Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, Doctor of Philosophy of the University of Oxford (1984).

That the following persons be admitted to the degree of Master of Arts under the provisions of Statute B, III, 6;

2. MARTIN JAMES DAUNTON, Fellow of Churchill College, Professor of Economic History.

3. GERARD FRANCIS GILMORE, of King's College, Reader in Astrophysics.

4. KORAY HIFZI KONUK, of Selwyn College, Assistant Keeper in the Fitzwilliam Museum.
