Visit of His Excellency the President of the Federative Republic of Brazil: Notice
The Vice-Chancellor requests (in accordance with Regulation 3 for Academical Dress, Statutes and Ordinances, p. 181) that Doctors in the several Faculties wear their festal gowns in public on Thursday, 4 December 1997, on the occasion of the visit to Cambridge of President Cardoso of Brazil.
He also requests that the University flag be flown that day from University buildings having flagpoles.
