MEMORIAL MEETINGS

A Memorial Meeting, with Music, for Sir John Cowdery Kendrew, K.B.E., M.A., Ph.D., Sc.D., F.R.S., Nobel Laureate 1962, Fellow of the College 1947-75, Honorary Fellow since 1975, and Honorary Fellow of Trinity College, born 24 March 1917, died 23 August 1997, will be held on Wednesday, 5 November 1997, at 4 p.m. in the West Road Concert Hall.

A Memorial Meeting, and Exhibition of his paintings, in Remembrance of Richard Murphy Goodwin, M.A., Ph.D., Fellow of the College 1956-80, Emeritus Fellow since 1980, and Emeritus Reader in Economics, born 24 February 1913, died 6 August 1996, will be held on Saturday, 8 November 1997, at 11 a.m. in the Lubbock Room, Peterhouse, and afterwards in the Ward Library.

CORRECTION

The announcement of the election to Emeritus Fellowships (p. 112) should read

Peter August Georg Scheuer, Ph.D.

David Henry Fitzroy Somerset.
