RESEARCH ASSISTANT/RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

Applications are invited for the post of Research Assistant/Research Associate to work with Dr William Peterson and Dr Sean Holly on a project funded by the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions, to develop national and regional models of the UK housing market and the need for social housing.

The appointment will be for one year from 1 January 1998, and the pensionable scales of stipend are:

Research Assistant: £15,159 a year, rising by three annual increments to £16,927.
Research Associate: £16,927 a year, rising by five annual increments to £21,016.

Applicants must have a good first degree and a graduate degree and/or experience in econometrics.
