Graces to be submitted to the Regent House at a Congregation on 18 October 1997

The Council have sanctioned the submission of the following Graces to the Regent House at a Congregation to be held on 18 October 1997:

1. That the title of the degree of Master of Arts, honoris causa, be conferred under Statute B, IV upon MICHAEL JAMES PETTY, formerly of the Cambridgeshire Collection, Cambridge Central Library.¹

That the following persons be admitted to the degree of Master of Arts under the provisions of Statute B, III, 6:

2. STEVEN VICTOR LEY, Fellow of Trinity College, BP Professor of Organic Chemistry.

3. COLIN ALAN PARKER, Fellow of Christ's College.

4. PATRICIA ANN HAYNES, Superintendent of the Biochemical Laboratory.

5. FRASER DARLING, Senior Technical Officer in the Department of Clinical Veterinary Medicine.

6. JOHN LAWRENCE OWEN, Senior Technical Officer in the Department of Pathology.

¹ It is expected that the title of the degree will be confered at the Congregation on 15 November 1997.
