Music at Madingley Hall
Douglas Hollick will give a harpsichord recital which takes a musical journey from the baroque beauty and poise of the Bach Partita to the somewhat more decadent works of Claude-Bégnine Balbastre (1727-99). The composers featured include Bach, Croft, Arne, Scarlatti, Couperin, and Balbastre. The concert will be given in the Saloon at Madingley Hall at 8.15 p.m. on Saturday, 11 October.
