Domestic Research Studentships

The Studentships are open to UK/EC students who propose to undertake research as registered Graduate Students in any branch of study within the University. Students must be registered as PhD or prospective PhD candidates. Applicants must have applied for a Humanities Research Board or UK Research Council award. The value of the awards will be around nine tenths of the prevailing HRB basic maintenance rate, with provision for University and College fees. Students ordinarily resident in the EC will be eligible for consideration for a fees-only award.

Applications must be made on the prescribed form, available from Tutors and from the Committee on Grants, 4 Mill Lane, Cambridge, CB2 1RZ. The closing date is 1 May 1998 for awards to be taken up in October 1998.
