Do you want to know more about the history of your local community? This day school, led by a number of academics, will introduce you to how historians undertake local history and will give you a taste of the kind of local history opportunities offered at the Institute of Continuing Education at all levels. Topics include communities 1500–1750, the role of religion, and the impact of poverty.
Tea, coffee and a light sandwich lunch are included in the price.
